Long Island, Bahamas

A few words about Long Island

  • History

Yes, back in 1492 when Columbus sailed the ocean blue, it was Long Island he visited first in this new world. "The Tropic of Cancer" led him right to us. Since then the English, Scottish, Irish, and Greeks have immigrated to this new world to work salt ponds, fish, and sponge dive.

Parturient montes nascetur ridculus mus. Nulla dui. Fusce feugiat malesuadam odio. Morbi nunc odio, gravida at, cursus nec, luctus.
  • Nature

There is a lot of this. Schools of grouper and tuna are nearby along with coral reefs that provide refuge for many fish, turtles, and sharks. Take a stroll up warm streams to the bedding grounds of turtles. Get up early to see migrating flamingoes. Its our little piece of paradise.
